Born in 1970 in Casablanca, Myriam Kettani was destined to become a great talent in the world of fashion.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Myriam went on to the Sorbonne in Paris to earn a Masters in Finance Management.
She returned to Morocco to begin a professional career in finance by working first for an insurance company and then for one of the largest corporate banks in the country. However, during this time, the soon-to-become designer refused to abandon her dream to one day creates her own line of ready-to-wear.
Passionate about fashion for her entire life, she worked on the side while studying in Paris for one of Italy’s biggest ready-to-wear brands. After working for a family-owned company where she held the position |

of administrative and Financial Director, Myriam decided to start her own company in launching MYA SE CRATIONS: her label of ready-to-wear that offers traditional Moroccan kaftans with a “modern touch”.
Success proved immediate, as she now enjoys a well-established notoriety throughout the Moroccan fashion world.
Her creations have been the object of several articles in publications such as FEMMES DU MAROC, OUSRA MAGAZINE, and most recently in the magazine MAROC D’EXCEPTION.
Her talent was definitively revealed during “Contemporary by Marrakech” which took place in London last November, where her creations were modelled amongst other designers. |
